As you might have already guessed, the Nocellara Etnea has been named after the spectacular volcano that overlooks Sicily from above (Mount Etna). It is one of the best extra virgin olive oils we currently produce. This organic product is harmonious and well-balanced. Its distinctive traits are to be found in the peculiar scents of grass and green tomato it emanates once the bottle has been opened. It has a full-bodied taste (rather bitter and spicy).
It perfectly pairs with meat (both red and white), vegetable and legumes soups, and bruschette.
We suggest to utilise it as a condiment for all sorts of pasta.
